Extended Services Information for the Hunter’s Bar Infant School Community
High Storrs Secondary School is the lead school for the High Storrs cluster of extended schools. The cluster includes: Ecclesall Infants School; Ecclesall Church of England Junior School; Greystones Primary School; Hunters Bar Infant School; Hunters Bar Junior School; Clifford Church of England Infant School and Portercroft Church of England Primary School.
Panni Loh was appointed as extended schools co-ordinator in February 2010 to co-ordinate the schools across the cluster to ensure that they are providing extended services with the full core offer by September 2010. The full core offer is: wrap around childcare; a varied menu of activities for pupils and students, information and support for parents, swift and easy referral to specialist support services and community access to facilities. The High Storrs cluster of schools aims to work together to provide extended services within its eight schools and in collaboration with organisations and facilities in the surrounding community to help children and young people to achieve their potential.
The High Storrs cluster of extended schools aims to work in partnership with other agencies that have an interest in outcomes for children and young people, and with the local community. In doing so, it aims to help meet not only the objectives of the eight schools in our Family but also to share in helping to meet the wider needs of children, young people, families and their communities.
